INTERESTED IN A PUPPY?

If you are interested in one of our puppies, the first step is an interview.  The interview can be done by phone or in person if you’d like to visit our home/kennel before the puppies arrive.  The questions include:

* Why did you choose the Boston Terrier as a breed?

* What is your home and schedule like?

* Do you have children or other pets in your

household? If yes, what are their ages?

The interview helps us to get to know your home and

family and thus make us better able to assist you in

finding the puppy which will suit you best.

In the meantime, the process begins to bring your

puppy into the world.  The mother and father of your

litter will breed and then, 58-63 days later, the puppies are born.  Within a week or so of the birth, we'll call or e-mail you and let you know the puppies have arrived!  The first appointments to see the new puppies are set at that time and are generally made for a weekend when the puppies will be 4-5 weeks old.   During this time, we are helping mommy as she cares for the puppies with things such as keeping them warm, clean and well fed.  We’ll keep you up to date on how everyone is doing via weekly e-mails.

When you come for your appointment, you can meet all of the puppies, their parents and our other dogs, especially if you haven’t visited prior to this visit.  Then, we will

work together to choose the right puppy for your household.  At that time, we will go over some

paperwork and take deposits which will hold your

puppy for you for up to 12 weeks of age.

Then, around 7 weeks old, the puppies will see our veterinarian and he will begin their vaccination series.

He will thoroughly examine them and give us the OK

to send them home.  They will also have been through

a series of dewormings and will have had a stool sample tested before going home.

FINALLY, after our veterinarian gives the OK and they are completely weaned, they are ready to go home. This is between 8 and 12 weeks of age. We will call you to confirm the pick-up date and you will be on your way with the new addition to your family. BUT, if after you get him/her home, things don't work out, you can bring him/her back to us within 15 days for a refund (deposits excluded). BUT, even after the 15 days, anytime in his/her lifetime, you can return him/her to us for any reason. All of our puppies

have a lifetime home available for them with us.

If you have additional questions, or would like to be

added to a list for one of our litters, give us a call at

(937)289-7038 and we’ll be happy to go over the

interview with you.  We look forward to hearing from

you.
